  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Fold this dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  • Gently fold in the crushed pretzels and chocolate chips into the brownie batter.
  • Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly. Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over this layer.
  • Pour the remaining brownie batter on top and drizzle the remaining caramel sauce. Swirl the caramel into the batter with a toothpick or knife.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Remove from the oven and sprinkle flaky sea salt over the top. Allow to cool in the pan on a wire rack for at least 30 minutes before cutting into squares.

Serve these decadent brownies on a rustic wooden platter. Garnish with extra whole pretzels and a light drizzle of caramel sauce before serving.
